The concert will feature works by Chopin, Debussy, Ravel, Messiaen, and Saint Saëns. Guests will enjoy a delicious post-concert reception catered by Boucherie. "It is with such pleasure that we welcome Philippe Bianconi back to New Orleans. Not only is he an outstanding pianist, but Philippe has been a friend of many of ours here in Louisiana for quite some time now; and we couldn't be happier to present him in what promises to be an exquisite performance of "his" music - French music - and a wonderful night all around at beautiful Esplanade Studios.", said MASNO Executive Director, Cara McCool Woolf. MASNO's premier fundraising event, NOCTURNE, will be celebrating its 15th anniversary on November 5 at the Ritz-Carlton, and is most special this year. It is dedicated to the memory of our beloved Richard Goula, Nocturne co-founder and MASNO grand patron, who vision, passion, and musical knowledge helped to make MASNO what it is today. In addition, we proudly welcome back one of our own former New Orleans International Piano Competition gold medalists as our Nocturne guest artist - American pianist Spencer Myer. I invite you to support MASNO by attending Nocturne XV, and elegant evening with a champagne reception, piano concert and dinner. Please consider becoming a Nocturne XV patron by purchasing a table for 10, or sponsoring area musicians and music students as Nocturne attendees.
